Role Overview
We're looking for an AI Engineerto help build and improve the intelligence at the core of Moxpost. Our product automatically creates, schedules, and publishes social media content for small businesses — and AI is what makes it genuinely personalised, contextually relevant, and consistently high-quality. In this role, you'll work on the models, pipelines, and systems that power content generation, engagement automation, and smart scheduling — helping us build an AI that sounds like every business owner, not like a generic robot.
What You’ll Do
You'll own the AI layer of theMoxpost product — designing, building, and iterating on the systems that turn brief business context into compelling social media content. You'll work closely with the product and engineering teams to ship features that are fast, reliable, and genuinely impressive to small business owners.
- Design and build LLM-powered pipelines for automated social media content generation tailored to specific business types andcontexts.
- Fine-tune and prompt-engineer foundation models to improve tone, relevance, brand voice matching, and content variety.
- Build and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure content quality, consistency, and user satisfaction at scale.
- Develop and improve AI systems for automated comment replies, DM responses, and engagement management.
- Collaborate with the product team to identify new AI-driven features that create genuine value for small business owners.
- Monitor AI system performance in production and iterate rapidly based on real-world feedback.
- Stay current with developments in LLMs, multi-modal AI, and agent frameworks — and bring relevant advances into the product.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who is passionate about applied AI — not just theory. You care about what AI actually produces for real users, and you're as focused on quality, reliability, and user trust as you are on technical sophistication. You're comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment where you ship, measure, and iterate quickly.
- 3–6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+years focused on applied AI or ML systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Mistral, or similar) and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, etc.).
- Experience building and deploying production AI systems— not just experiments.
- Strong understanding of evaluation methodologies for generative AI outputs.
- Ability to communicate AI concepts and trade offsclearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, or fine-tuning is a strong plus.
- Genuine curiosity about small business challenges and what makes AI outputs feel authentic.
